Type Approval Guide For Short Range Devices in Indonesia

The applicable Standards for Short Range Devices (SRD) in Indonesia approval test will be based on national standards: KEPDIRJEN No.214/DIRJEN/2005. The national standards are mainly adopted from EN 300.220-1, EN 300.224-1, EN 300.330 and FCC part 15.209 The key parameters are as follows:

• Radiated Emission Limits.
  
• Error frequency shall be below 50 kHz.
• The used of power booster (integrated into SRD devices) is not permitted
• Receiver sensitivity shall be below -113 dBm
• The Transmission power shall be below 10mW (ERP)

Some of devices which are included in short range devices category are alarms, identification systems, radio-detection, vehicle radar systems, wireless local area networks, remote controls, telecommand, telemetry, on-site paging systems, cordless keyboard, vehicle keyless entry. etc..
